The chromosome-scale genome assembly of the redlip blenny, Ophioblennius macclurei (Blenniidae)

Abstract

We present a high-quality, chromosome-scale genome assembly for the redlip blenny Ophioblennius macclurei, a reef-associated fish species with a restricted range in the Caribbean. The genome assembly will serve as a reference for population genomic studies of this species and provide a resource for comparative genomic analyses of blennioid fishes.
