We are very happy to welcome Finja Sygo to the del Campo Lab, where she will carry out her Master’s thesis in bioinformatics. 🪸🦠

We are very happy to welcome Finja Sygo to the del Campo Lab! Finja joins us from the Universität Hamburg, where she is pursuing an MSc in Bioinformatics, after completing her BSc in Molecular Life Science at the University of Lübeck. There she had her first deep dive into bioinformatics, building a pipeline to analyze gene expression from bulk RNA-sequencing data at the Institute of Human Genetics.

For her Master’s thesis, Finja will work on RACCOON, expanding and improving the pipeline, combining her interests in bioinformatics, biodiversity, and the effects of climate change on ecosystems.
